VEHICLE DYNAMICS ENGINEER

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Dynamics Engineer to join an exciting vehicle development project. The contract will last initially for 6 months with the possibility to extend up to a year. The right candidate will be able to work in a dynamic environment alongside a team of engineers and technicians to deliver a product that meets all Vehicle Performance attribute targets.

• Define testing plan for vehicle dynamics development and validation.

• Conduct vehicle testing to develop, optimize and validate vehicle dynamics attributes aligned with product requirements.

• Post- process and analyze vehicle performance data to report vehicle status, root cause concerns, deliver recommendations to support vehicle development and escalate conflicts to the Vehicle Performance Director.

• Work collaboratively with engineering and product management teams to ensure a timely and efficient project delivery.

• Write and deliver technical reports and presentations to communicate project status and findings to management.

• 1st Class Bachelor or Masters degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Motorsport Engineering 

• Previous experience in Vehicle Dynamics testing and development. 

• Previous experience with use of vehicle testing and data acquisition tools. 

• Excellent understanding of vehicle dynamics and controls fundamentals with experience in vehicle modelling and analysis. 

• Desired experience with development and tuning of chassis control systems (ESP, TV, semi-active dampers).  

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills. 

• Desirable experience performing virtual vehicle development using Driver-in-the-Loop (DIL) simulators. 

• Excellent team-worker, who is agile, proactive, and has a "startup" attitude.
